Tutorials for the latest in Reborn Techniques Suggest much better
results when one hand wearing a waterproof glove handles your vinyl
doll parts as you paint them. Do not touch them with your skin
as you can inadvertedly transfer the natural oils in your hands to
your doll's vinyl surface and they will inhibit the ability of any
paint to adhere properly to the vinyl surface of your baby
doll. Please be sure once you wash and thoroughly dry
your new reborn kits that you always wear a glove on the hand that
handles and holds the vinyl parts for painting

round sponge into handy wedges I also use to 'dry brush' my final
flesh tone layers for a real effect ... Use the Largest Brush
completely dry for going over your painted creases and catching the
excess so baby's details look as natural as possible

Air Dry Paints dry quickly and you can usually paint your next layer
in 2-5 hours... Paints are set in 24 hours time to a permanent
finish! Our Reboners Real Results Gel is included to extend the
drying time, spot correct, and smooth out the finish for beautiful
results! Note:
You can shorten the drying time on our paints if you like with a
Regular Hair Blow Dryer (Use 'Low' or 'Gentle' Setting)... also to
help speed up drying time, use less Results Gel ~ Six Color

the Reborning Real Results Gel Sparingly for Gentle Correcting to
Your Detail Work - Use in the same manner as you would the
thick Genesis thinner in the jars - works very much the same way

Our Glazing Gel is an Excellent Medium for
Natural Lips. Also dilute Glazing gel for inner ear
detail work a thinned wash for soles of feet, eyelids, and palms
ToP CoAT CLeAR MaTTe SeALER
Our Top Coat Clear MaTTe Sealer protects your beautiful work
when you are done. Simply mix a little thinner in with the Matte
Sealer and apply sparingly with a cosmetic wedge or a cut wedge of
the textured yellow sponge in a thin layer all over baby and allow
to dry ~ remember to make the layer thin and add a small amount of
thinner to the matte varnish to control shine - shake before opening
to distribute the matting agents in this formula - also be sure to
apply a thinned layer with a texture sponge to control shine

some Secrist vinyl doll parts may arrive with a little factory
residue so it's very important to wash them, completely wipe them

mediums. Follow the steps in the Air Dry Reborn Painting Summary
Page I wrote and included for the best application and use of the
paint thinner in reborning your new baby. Use our Baby
Tones odor-free thinner in place of the Genesis Odorless mineral
spirits.
